Clockin Duo is used by two people who chose each other. We store what the app needs to work and nothing else, we do not sell anything to anybody, and there is no advertising.

Your account. You sign in with Google, and we keep the name, email address and profile picture Google gives us, plus your timezone so the app can show your partner’s local time. We never see your Google password.

Your duo. Which two accounts are paired, when you paired, and the settings that belong to the pair - your meetup date, your streaks and your session history.

What you do together. Lock In sessions and their goals, game moves and scores, the YouTube links you paste, and pings.

Chat is not in this list, because we do not store it. A message is held in memory on the server that relays it, only for as long as one of you still has that screen open, and it is gone the moment you both leave - not archived, not moved, not written to a database at all. Reactions are the same. Neither survives the session, which also means neither is ours to hand over or restore.

Notification subscriptions, if you turn notifications on. That is a token from your browser’s push service, which we use only to send the notifications you asked for.

We do not read your messages, and nothing you write is sent to an AI service or any other third party for processing. There is no feature in Clockin Duo that does that.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not run advertising.

We never see your card details. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, who take the card information directly; we only receive confirmation that a subscription is active.

YouTube - when you watch something together, the video is played by YouTube’s own embedded player and their terms and privacy policy apply to that playback.

PostHog - product analytics: which screens are used and which features are started. We do not send it the contents of your messages, goals or games.

You can delete your account from Settings. It removes your account, your half of the pair and the data that belongs to it. Your partner keeps their own account and is told the pair has ended.

Backups are kept for a short period for disaster recovery and are overwritten on their own schedule.
